Where to start
Where to go first
Most first-time visitors start with Hunza and Skardu. Hunza offers forts, Attabad Lake, Passu Cones and the Khunjerab Pass road. Skardu offers Shangrila and Satpara lakes, Shigar and Khaplu forts, the Katpana cold desert, and the Deosai plains. Trekkers who want the highest mountains head for the Baltoro Glacier, Concordia and K2 Base Camp from Skardu via Askole.

Prices are confirmed in writing for your actual trip — this site does not publish a fixed price for a trip whose inclusions have not been agreed, because group size, hotels, transport and season change the total.

HelloBaltistan is a tourism planning and service coordination platform. It plans your trip and coordinates the services in your itinerary. Hotels, vehicles, guides, camps and other on-the-ground services are supplied by partners, and any partner-supplied element is named in your written quote. No licence, ownership, availability or qualification is claimed on this site unless it is confirmed in writing for your trip.
Do I need to book everything through HelloBaltistan?
No. You can book a single service — for example only a jeep rental or only a guide — or a complete trip. Use the service pages for single-service enquiries.
When should I enquire?
As early as practical, especially for June–September treks and for spring blossom or autumn colour in Hunza and Skardu, when hotels and domestic flights fill first.
